Oakley tend to fix their pricing quite well, more to the point they're not that great really. Especially for the money!

Persoanlly I'd say stick with the Mpacts (not the 2s). The Mpact 2 gloves are a bit stiff but if you're interested in the hard knuckle style you could look at the new Mpact 3 http://www.mechanix.com/tactical/m-pact-3-covert

Worth remembering that the Oakley Pilot gloves are basically glorified "extreme sports" gloves....

I have had both oakley and mechanix gloves... my personal choice now is mechanix fastfits, very comfortable and you don't really need knuckle protection for airsoft!
