Nothing is wrong with it, unless the person is asking lots of people, I honestly had no idea and answered as such.

You'd be pretty perturbed if you found out someone you'd answered questions for in private had sent the same PM to lots of others - as it happens the question was to do with something I had publicly presented nothing to indicate I might have any clue about it, and that was suspicious. Plus the PM looked all templateee (I not rudedly indicated I had no idea and closed the pm).

I wished I could have helped, I was about a minute into a google search to present a good reply when I was reminded that this was someone I had called out for just this behaviour a few days ago - i've no proof and I don't want to be rude about it. But nor do I want to spend time on a reply for ONE person, when other's are probably doing exactly the same - I don't like useless threads, but "is this a good buy" threads are better than PM'ing people. Yeah but if you want to discuss something for sale on the forum maybe its best to do it in private so the seller isn't privy to the conversation
