Depending on the problem will depend on the advise. If they've bought something and it's not arrived easy but if they've bought something that's not as described then under distance selling regs any item sold MUST be as described and fit for purpose. If it's neither they have to adhere to those rules and accept a return for refund. I'd take pictures and open a PayPal dispute and ask PayPal if you email those pictures along win a screenshot of the description of what yo...

It's gone beyond all of those stages.

To C&P from their status:

"Can anyone offer any advice?

I bought some shoes from EBay and I thought they were fake (lots of reasons), seller refused to take them back so raised EBay case and they settled in my favour and refunded and I returned shoes.

Today, I got a letter from the seller recorded and signed for stating she's taking me to court if I don't respond in 28 days and either a) pay agai...

Huh. It has a character limit here, but doesn't tell you about it; just cuts you off.

Anyway:

"...either a) pay again and buy them for more than the original price or B) she will re sell and charge me the difference for losses AND that I have to remove the negative feedback. Any Facebookers had this before?"

Bollocks - ebay/paypal settled the case. ALL ebayers agree to be bound by ebay terms n conditions. We also have a distance selling rule that you CAN return items think 11 or so working days - yeah wish her good luck taking you to court and waste more of her money

excuse the pun - lol...

Wouldn't want to be in her SHOES. Pratt is just trying it on, if she goes to a UK small claims court she is just gonna lose even more money

S

Reckon she is just trying to get you to remove negative feedback she can't seriously think she got a chance of going to court.

Yes you entered into legal contract but distance selling means you can return items for ANY reason. Unless seller said NO RETURNS on s/hand goods then she got nothing to stand on or in if she wears the shoes

How do I know - coz bought fake corrupt mem sticks as a buyer and had little $hits trying it on to return goods that were not mine and kept changing story plus my paypal account was locked during fake dispute

If you've already a dispute open with EBay or PayPal and you've been awarded the case then the seller has no legal right to take any further action. Both EBay and PayPal are prefessional bodies with their own teams with look at disputes. To any court they'd more than accept that. I think it's more threat tactics cos they're pissed off. I won a dispute once and the seller turned up at my house, he'd driven 300 miles lol. Even if a seller has NO RETURNS you can still ret...

Indeed - reckon seller buys fake goods from ioffer.com sells on ebay and your negative feedback has pi$$ed on their firework a bit

Don't think I would retract the feedback now either, totally wrong way to go about it in my mind
