Soz being very silly - soz to any welsh members - I'll go back to me knitting

To be fair; that's a very economical use of hobbies; wool can be knitted very easily.

Ever tried gaming??

Wouldn't say gaming is a perfect hobby, it's not really real enough, I think if you classed gaming as a hobby, wouldn't it be like proper beast setup and all.. Not just turning on the console and having a ramble.

I have been playing computer games since the days of the Sinclair Spectrum but would never class it as a hobby. Its something to do when you're really bored but cant be arsed to anything constructive.

Looking for something active .

I am 39 so have already done football and rugby. Tried tennis but I was really shite and the only way cricket would be interesting is if the pitch was mined and the stumps were a motion activated bomb.

Fishing is also out it's not a sport it's a supposedly intelligent human being trying to outwit a fish with thousands of pounds of equipment and still losing. Unless you are catching cod or tuna being a fisherman should be punishable by birching

+1 for speccy, the biggest challenge was getting the bastid to load - who cares about game. 8 x attempts at 15mins load times. $hit I ain't got time to play the sod now. And kids moan about 4G is still a bit slow for browsing - try dial up internet - jeeezzz

Motorbike restoring but with cars? lol

S
Sitting Duck
Blimey - they are for real dedicated lovers of cars/bikes, years n years lost in restoring old TR6 or Stag MG etc... or something, then hardly ever use the thing. But I respect anybody who is that dedicated rather likes of moi with yet another 5min hobby as missus says

I've recently taken up drone flying with the aim of getting into racing them. It's good fun with plenty of opportunity to tinker when not flying.

Drone racing sounds like it has possibilities.

Did toy with the idea of building a robot for robot wars once and now its coming back on its started the brain going again. Only problem is I would need someone else to take it on the show as its far too much of a geek fest.

I like geeky things but absolutely cant deal with the real over the top uber geeky people. I get the urge to bog flush their heads like a bullying school kid .

Does that make me a bad person?

Perfectly normal in my book, I like how things work/break but also I recently have won an item called A LIFE. still struggling wtf I'm supposed to do with it. But to my critics I do now actually have a life - locked away with crappy guns I'll never use
