He justified it by saying that a vehicle could've hit me because I wasn't getting up to speed quick enough, my car takes around 11 seconds to get to 60, no cars around when I pulled out so that confused me. It was planned, he let his hand out, I stopped and did the checks. He explained why I failed, he said and I quote "A car coming from infront of you wouldn't have expected you to stop inbetween two cars" which is exactly where he told me to stop. I know how you feel, my second test I was 150m from returning to the test centre on a one way street and got charged at by an ambulance going the wrong way up it with Blues and Two's, I mounted the kerb to let him past as I had a car behind me - Instant fail. despite up until that point having *1* minor. No leeway given at all, i'd even made sure there were no pedestrians nearby
Wow, sounds like a right arsehole. You made sure that nothing was coming before you pulled out, and were forced to stop. None of that was your fault. I'd be straight on to the DVLA
