Cheers duck will check the, out. I'm thinking more with regards to the small private owned surplus stores who have a lot of stuff I want but don't ship anywhere apart from mainland USA. These forward companies apparently offer cheaper whipping because all of the parcels for the uk are shipped in a big lot so the saving is passed onto us apparently. I'm skeptical though, seems like a perfect scheme for nicking people's stuff

Have you tried emailing the store? I wanted a specific sling from the US so emailed the company and asked if they would ship it to me even though their website said US & Canada only. Was not cheap, but as I could not buy it from a UK retailer I paid the £15 shipping fee.
think others like clandestine or brill armoury do as well - well sure one of them last two do
