The worst that can happen is that you lose a part or break the spring. You can always buy replacement parts if this is the case anyway.

It's dead easy mate. Just watch for the anti reversal latch spring as those ping off. If you cut the spring down heat the spring up where you've cut it and press it to double coil it again if that makes sense

Well balls, looks like im rebuilding a version 3 gearbox :( Nothing pinged out but it all kinda twisted out of place courtesy of the spring :(

on the bright side.. at least it's not a V2 ^^

Generally I try to hold down the cylinder & spring when opening it

open box in a plastic bag

magnet under AR latch keeps it place. ensure piston/spring is at rest etc....

mecanno joy

Sometimes there is a massive plastic/metal spacer behind piston head - you could remove/reduce to lower fps.

What is current fps ???

BBrotherwood

about 358 :/ putting a 1000 through it did nought to drop the FPS

On the plus side I dropped my screwdriver which then sent something flying into my screen... im now down to 1 and a half monitors.

RIGHT 358 ???

correct AoE - if not already done

that should drop 10 to 15fps I reckon - DON'T CUT SPRING as it probably ain't needed

Don't mess with owt else, it is probably a m110 in there. if aiming for 350 max then AoE should bring it down 10 to 15fps. If for Mall's 340 max then AoE and leave gun cocked overnight "should" suffice I reckon

Well its back together again and now it fires the minute I touch a battery to the connector! I shall remember that the next time I try and fiddle with a new box Duck :)

Whoever designed the trigger is a moron and needs to go to engineering hell....

Found the problem that caused it to just fire constantly but now I can get the frigging back together full stop without something pinging out last minute :/ had more then enough of it for one day
