just google the bike and you can see its been sold new in bike shops for like 700-720

I know alot and definitely not worth that more like £400 if its in great condition

Defys second hand, 300-350. Also be very careful of the condition. Number of times we get people come into work who have been given bikes and we have to condem them or give them a massive repair bill to actually get the thing ridable .

Also run the frame number through here just to be on the safe side incase its reported stolen.

i attest to this..i got about 400 pounds to spend on mine because the drivetrain is shagged

Deore/slx lol going for a full XT + brakes deal for 400 if i ever find out if it'll fit on my bike

What frame is it going on? As long as you pick the right length mech, and mounting brackets for the derailleur + callipers it should work.

Giant anthem x4 2011 all i know atm is its using a top swing mech atm

You just need to work out wether you want to go double or triple (or single if your crazy) and then decide what ratio you want at the back. Shimano brakes come with crazy long hoses though so you will probably want to get them fitted in a bike shot as they will have a hose cutter and barb driver.

yeah i got a semi local place in mind for installing it

but it comes with XT Front Derailleur FD-M786 Unisize which i do not think will work simply because of the bracket & the curve in the bike frame where it would be sitting
