wtf - you trying to stick a ak 455mm barrel on a Firehawk or something. or are you overcompensating for something

You know, I've been waiting for someone to say I am overcompensating! But no, I am going for a particular look. Would be stupid to put it on the end of my 17" barrel, but if i put the outer barrel inside the suppressor (take one of the end caps off the suppressor), I can have the integrally suppressed look with only about 180mm of the suppressor actually showing

I guess the outer barrel is now the 'inner' barrel, and the normal inner barrel is the 'inner inner' barrel

Although, I will put it on the end of the barrel and take a picture for you. It'd look quite strange

go for it - your gun you put on there what you like. it might look pretty damn bad ass if done well. I'm one for try this then that the back to that then - oh wtf put something like the original flash hider back on there

I know what you mean, I've been swapping between my flash hider and suppressor a lot lately. Damn shame because the flash hider is nice, but I like suppressors too

This new one will probably stay on there though!

placed on a SVD that would make it over 1.5m long, just perfect for cqb. Go for it, it might be an effective muffling sound dampener or I do wonder if I could just slip over say 150mm hollow delrin tube to give suppressor "look" to 1 or 2 guns

eg: black plastic/delrin tube

35mm x 150mm round bar with a 12mm aprox hole slid on with a bit of mastic to give suppressor look, maybe a screw on end cap to fake compressor onto outer barrel

cheap look of mofo suppressor and no extra bit sticking out to run into or catch on tight spaces

At full length (stock extended) + the new suppressor, I'd be looking at my gun being about 123cm long. Nice number. Yeah that'd definitely work, it is effectively what I am doing. Just a bit more interesting to look at, y'know? I am ready to order my SOCOM stock, but divided between express and standard delivery! £6 extra being a big deal at the minute, but I wouldn't have to wait as long. Will use ehobby.asia probably though
