depends on size of parcel and a bit of luck but less likely being stopped from HK than very likely from US. a few bits n bobs in a jiffy bag no proplem. moderate size parcels the chance increases a little
loads of stuff came through fine but thought I'd buy 5 x stubby M4 stocks last year and had to cough up about £20 on a £70 order - can't remember exact amount but yeah sounds like VAT + small fee on top. So the big saving was greatly reduced but ho hum - win some/lose some
Oh god yeah the U.S. shipments are by far the worst. They had for me a package worth less than £30 from the states. If Airsoft Peak sell what you wants get it from there as they offer a service to remove something to avoid customs charges.
Ah right well I want to buy a SOCOM stock and a Madbull suppressor which is 145mm. Think it will be alright? I've never dealt with customs before because I haven't ordered anything from outside the UK
Think I will just order the stock for now because my budget is a little thin. Will order the suppressor once my PayPal money is released. Hopefully ordering separately would help...
that is my experiences from US, thankfully I cancelled an Evike order in the end, think Airsoft GI has a pre payment of duty option but still I'll grab stuff from EU or HK first
They charge a bit much don't they? Takes the piss! Not sure whether to order both the stock and suppressor (£90 for the two, £13 delivery 10-20 days, then the possible customs con) or just the stock! Mind you I've only got about £120 to spend at the minute and a further £44 pending on PayPal (should be available in the next few days)
My recent HK (different store) shipment was below the 10-20 range given, at least after dispatch, they held it for about 10 days for restocking though.
