LWA had the FireHawk flash hider for £33, seen them at Gunfire & others too...

TBH - it gets on ya nerves a bit all day especially in cqb/tunnels. Get a Noveske sound hog thingy - they are quite load - or shout BANG when shooting

its not just the flash hider SD, its for the full top end, and my raider L is too long for CQB in my mind

get a shorter outer barrel and a 225 to 275 inner barrel

Ideal would be a short raider top receiver but problem you may have if using FireHawk 110mm barrel and "maybe" the 225/233 short Raider barrel on L Raider

is ya cylinder port would be way out on the ratio - ya using say a 363 cylinder for a 110 to 233 barrel - port at halfway rather than 3/4 of cylinder

so you would get weird fps results I reckon

So unless you change cylinder/port when using a shorter barrel you may get odd fps

maybe look out for a cheap bollox'd Raider S to overhaul & tweak, only problem is G&G are a little too damn reliable so finding a moody one for a good price may be very tricky

yeah i have thought about this SD, but the way i figured it, in CQB fps isnt everything

besides ... i may just get a whole dam fire hawk, its only £40 difference in the end

They are a sexy looking loud mouth bitch of a cqb gun indeed and if you ripped it apart for parts you would be ok

Flash hider, VS02 stock, G&G flip sights like on CM18, dinky rail & receiver, plus a G&G v2 gearbox

the non toptech or normal FireHawk's seem to have a 23:1 gearset & bearings as opposed to usual 18:1 gears and bronzey bushings

so fire rate is a tad slower than it used to be - but still a kickass looking gun that turns heads - even before you fir...

fire the loud bitch thing - it can get on ya nerves a little all day - but suppose is what ear plugs/defenders are for

the dust cover drops down properly unlike Raider's pull down one - think the port G&G used in cylinder isn't quite 101% correct for such a short tiny barrel but that is yet another gun I gotta look into - think it was a 225/233 port so fps was out a bit when i serviced mine - but still a fine sexy beast of a gun
