Are you holding the mag upside down as you gas it?

I have an fnx so the nozzle is on the side of the mag if it makes a difference, I've held the mag up right and tried with the mag on its side, but not upside down.

Oh right. That's the only pistol with the valve in that location.

The gas can needs to be nozzle down as you gas the mag.

yeah, gas bottle always nozzle down. When you're filling a gas mag you want to be putting liquid into the magazine, not just gas, almost like you're pouring it into the valve :)
