Ouch,it must suck losing so much money for a crock of sh*t like that.
If you're desperate for a AW338,you could buy the Marui L96 and I believe PDI make fluted barrels and 338 receivers.
Still, hopefully they take it back.I don;t know about the UK,but in Ireland all airsoft guns have a 120 day warranty for all guns,so they should take it back.
The receiver as in the metal bit can, but the actual stock (the most appealing bit in my view cant) Unless you could modify another makes to fit, but It'd take a fair bit of work, an the feeding mech is still not great on it.
They did arrive Rex, yeah lol. The piston, spring guide and spring all fit, but the sears are different, the cylinder head uses a different thread to screw in and the hop rubber seemed too fat to work, I fitted it and the gun just jammed.
No fault of yours though, and I shall leave you some gleaming feedback shortly.
Which one did you get was it the .338 or the MS700 BTW My Ares Cheytac intervention has changed hands and look like it will do again. VERY hard to cock the bolt when it's upgraded to 490fps (ish).
It's the .338 I have, I think it's the MSR007. I bought some ASPUK parts second hand for it though, not that kit. Not that it would've made any difference to the uselessness of it.
If you look in the review section of the forums then I wrote up everything about it that I've found in a huge review, spanning 3 or so pages.
