any sniper rifle will need to be upgraded before being usefull, but start with a marui vsr10 or warrior l96

I see the Well Warrior L96 is at a decent price so a couple of upgrades could be included in that £300 budget.

a downside with the warrior l96 is its image, lots of people will think "codsofter" when they see one. Just something to consider before getting one.

Meh, ignore that, if you get one and sort it so it shoots well, people wont get close enough to see what it was that hit them anyway

If you're going to spend a lot on the trigger you may as well save the extra and get a 0/V trigger.

The S trigger is only 80 bucks,much cheaper than the LayLax and PDI ones,and better build quality than the China ones.Still,his choice,just a recommendation.
