The L85 is in both, China Rising for BF4 and Second Assault in BF3 IIRC. BF4 Premium isn't worth it IMO but BF3 Premium really was.

BF4 - easier "COD" like controls I found. BF3 much better coms from team players online:

f*** them up the ar$e etc... which is funny in game but some (parents) may not like it

The Strike At Karkand DLC has the L85.

But to unlock it you have to win 5 rounds of squad death match (among other things) and ain't nobody playing that anymore.

The L96 is in Back to Karkand as well as the L85A2 and the L86A2 LSW (AKA the crow cannon, it's shockingly bad in it's role IRL) is in the CQB DLC

I always play on Hardcore and always thought the L86 was pretty amazing.

Yeah, it was always nice as a longer range support rifle- like a bullpup M27 IAR- but it's magazine capacity (even with the extended magazines attachment) is inferior to all the belt fed MGs. The best in that class tended to be the M249, the M240 and my personal favourite the Type 88 LMG.

I know it late lol, but I really like the look of it! I have bf4 standard but dont want that premium after the reviews were so mixed. Are there many games available on bf3?

No clue. Very doubtful on last-gen though.

There is still life left in PS3 but alas is all down to software companies in the end. Example Rabbids Invasion - made for XBone, PS4, 360 but not released on PS3 so could be the start of the end and the others all charge for online play
