From what my dad says the real famas is a joke so the l85 would be the one to have out of those two, couldn't say about the t21 but I'd imagine it's pretty decent.

In airsoft all the tar21s are sh*t, the TM famas (although am bestest) is pretty crap and that leaves the myriad of l85s which aren't.

L85 - better, use my mags in it and coz its british (made in hong kong/taiwan). Tempted to try the other two but then I talk myself out it very quickly

No it is being a bit patriotic, but the laughable thing is that most stuff is made in far east. If we made stuff in UK at cheap prices them most likely it would be made by a load of polish people or illegal immigrants being paid less than min wage in some sweat shop no doubt. But nothing wrong with being a little bit patriotic or proud of your own country

tar is different and kinda nice I think but too plastic, shorten spring on bespoke gearbox I think, famas different mags and don't want to muller or modify the magwell to take M4 mags

I know from reading around the L85 a lot that it's the most reliable service rifle in the western world short of the 416, which shares the same system.

Absolutely wrecked the US M4 in military trials.

However, I don't know anything about the TAR-21, but I would imagine it's pretty damn good for Israel to adopt it, and the weight's got to be a huge plus over the L85.

Only other thing is that every single time I've ever picked up a Tar 21 my wris...

wrist has knocked the mag release tab, which I think is a pretty epic design fail.

Also, I don't understand how or why anyone can actually be patriotic. This country is shit. The government are spineless dicks, the political system is broken, the education system is broken, the economy is broken and we have a very, very questionable history of killing people for no reason, invading countries, forcing our way of life onto people and just generally being massive c*nts.

If you're talking airsoft, probably the L85 as there are some good replications of it, so there are plenty of bits for them. If you're talking about the real thing, the L85 has quite a few issues, not least of which is that it is only one that cannot be fired left handed.

I'll agree Britain ain't perfect - but what country is ???. I am just so glad I'm not French - coz I can't speak much french at all really. But I have done ok in this country and 500k asylum seekers a year can't be wrong I guess - but c'mon lets get off the politics side of things - I like the Airsoft L85 even if it is made in china/taiwan

I'm wondering where the FN F2000 comes into all this. Top of the leaderboard for looks I'd say. The airsoft version doesn't perform half bad either from what I've seen in reviews. No clue what it's like in real life though.
