You will want to either find an Aberdeen Uni team, or persuade someone to start one. They will have access to stuff like minibuses. Plus it will be easier to persuade sites to host 2 student teams than 1

Why not just start a club, plus most uni's give you an awesome grant to start up a club. first year do membership at £5 or £10, which should cover getting a set of patches made. Don't stipulate loadout. Then approach a site, a bar and your local shop ask for a small discount or incentive. Like play 5 games get your 6th free or half price. You'll promote them round campus which is fair.

My Uni Canoe club got sponsored by a bar, a club, Domino's and our local canoe shop. The bar did a cheap booze deal on a Wednesday night (50p off a pint or something for members). The club did £1 off the entry cost. Domino's was like 10% discount on collections. And the shop was a 10% discount with the club membership card. All we did was promote them to our members and put their logo's on any kit we had made like hoodies and tshirts.
