I'm pretty sure your TV license only covers BBC channels anyway, as they don't have advert breaks to support them so they have a sneaky tax type payment to pay wages.
Nope, A TV licence is a tax. You have to pay to watch or record any broadcast TV, whether terrestrial, cable or satellite. Online is not covered as long as you don't watch it at the same time as it is being broadcast.
