High powered torches are great for illumination, disturbing opposite team, taking out nightvisions and most of all, giving away your position. I'd bring a high and a low powered torch. Also I'd use them sparingly. Step carefully thou.
Red torches have the advantage of 1. animals have a harder time detecting red light (which is completely pointless in airsoft) 2. indeed does not disrupt your natural night vision. However this will be pretty pointless as well, seeing how there will be plenty other bright lights to disrupt it. I know someone on this forum was using it just because he liked the effect of the red light.
Tracers give away position like nothing else. Thou you do know where your BBs are hitting and the...
...and they look damn cool! I know military sometimes mix in a few tracer rounds, keeps somewhat track on where you are shooting while saving on the rounds.
