I would cry if that was me :-/

I had to leave the house for a couple of hours to calm down. Eventually found most of the parts. The core of the valve is brass and about an inch long, it had flown about 3 meters and penetrated a cardboard box. Without the scope mount that would have gone into my face. I have spent the whole night repairing it and now have the mag ready to be gassed up to see if it works.

When it does actually work, how's the performance? I have terrible experiences with gas bolt action rifles.

I knew someone who nearly blow themselves up with an L98 once. I would not have minded but I was next to them at the time...
