Because they are made by BMW, they're ridiculously expensive new, so 2nd hand is equally ridiculous.

I find it more ridiculous that they're called "minis" when they are, in actual fact, massive.

Funny you should say that, they call them Massives at the factory. The company I work for works at Cowley, the Countryman is in fact bigger than a BMW X1 and has the longest roof panel of any car in the BMW range.
