Last year I got my palm stuck in between a piston the back of the gearbox. Got it to work so that was a plus.

I blew out my work light today firing of last round in sky to make it safe, smmmmaasshhh .. f*ck dust and glass everywhere ooops

that must be very ouch - I went to bunker last weekend, thought gun wasn't firing coz so feckin dark - shot one into hand expecting nothing - OOOUUUCCCHHHH and that was with gloves on - yup is working fine - left hand is sore though for some reason ?

I do it all the time to check the gun is working. I don't know what you guys are doing wrong but it doesn't hurt much to shoot the palm.

Ah, you're shooting the wrong part of the palm. If you relax the hand and shoot near the center of the palm, it stings for a second or 2 and then it's fine.
