depends if you can get one that fits, 99% of airsoft helmets are made in the larger end of the size scale so they'll go on more people's heads.

A huge helmet on a tiny head looks really stupid.

Makes you look like toad from Mario.

What jcheese said. Most helmets are sized for men not kids. Sure you can buy a fancy dress kids one made from the weakest ABS you could imagine as I don't think they size down that far for kids, but a real one doesn't look right at all.

Let my son wear mine (which is a small men's because of my tiny head) and it looked massive on him.

That was what I was thinking, the whole adult size kinda thing. Might just wait and find another way of mounting, I can do chest or head strap, so it's no crisis. Thanks Guys!

I use one and im 15, they look pretty good if you can get the head lock system adjusted right, but however old you are, a big helmet on a small head looks terrible.

You could, like you said use a head strap or just mount it on your gun?

A helmet is only good if you're going for a specific look though. Many people don't wear them as they can get in the way, feel heavy upon your head, and wobble if your straps aren't adjusted right.

I wear one simply because of my loadout and that it's my old military helmet so I had it anyway.

From my perspective, any form of head gear on a child doesn't look right, especially the full face masks. The contrast between the manly headgear and a child's body doesn't mesh.

Thanks guys! I'll just use the head strap then to mount

Well, your 14, i don't think your head will look like a new born's face, ready to be touched by old hags, it should be starting to create it's own... manly edges.

Mounting a pov cam on a gun seems like a good idea until you try it then what what you've filmed.. in my experience.

main two reasons I am considering a helmet is I am quite tall and sometimes bang my head.. and that can be real painful and second to mount a pov cam

*headstrap on my pov cam is a joke

True Friz, but head size is the issue, not shape;)

Oh... i see.. as long as it fits you're fine. Shoulders counts as well, if you have wide, manly shoulders, you'll look great regardless.

Yeah, I might just wait it out abit for a helmet, man up a tad;) And Two_Zero, why is it a joke?:/

From the reviews I've seen the Contour head mount is bollocks. It makes the camera sit at a dodgy angle, so you're filming the sky the whole time. When I get a Contour I'll get a Picatinny mount but not sure what to use if I want it as a Headcam. I think Ed (AirsoftEd/BulletForMyEnemy) uses the headstrap but around his helmet.

elastic around your head, the a massive crocodile clip on the cam attach it to the strap and you got the complete wrong angle. and not only is it in the way on the forehead but it is banging around aswell!!
