What jcheese said. Most helmets are sized for men not kids. Sure you can buy a fancy dress kids one made from the weakest ABS you could imagine as I don't think they size down that far for kids, but a real one doesn't look right at all.
Let my son wear mine (which is a small men's because of my tiny head) and it looked massive on him.
That was what I was thinking, the whole adult size kinda thing. Might just wait and find another way of mounting, I can do chest or head strap, so it's no crisis. Thanks Guys!
I use one and im 15, they look pretty good if you can get the head lock system adjusted right, but however old you are, a big helmet on a small head looks terrible.
You could, like you said use a head strap or just mount it on your gun?
A helmet is only good if you're going for a specific look though. Many people don't wear them as they can get in the way, feel heavy upon your head, and wobble if your straps aren't adjusted right.
I wear one simply because of my loadout and that it's my old military helmet so I had it anyway.
From my perspective, any form of head gear on a child doesn't look right, especially the full face masks. The contrast between the manly headgear and a child's body doesn't mesh.
Well, your 14, i don't think your head will look like a new born's face, ready to be touched by old hags, it should be starting to create it's own... manly edges.
From the reviews I've seen the Contour head mount is bollocks. It makes the camera sit at a dodgy angle, so you're filming the sky the whole time. When I get a Contour I'll get a Picatinny mount but not sure what to use if I want it as a Headcam. I think Ed (AirsoftEd/BulletForMyEnemy) uses the headstrap but around his helmet.
elastic around your head, the a massive crocodile clip on the cam attach it to the strap and you got the complete wrong angle. and not only is it in the way on the forehead but it is banging around aswell!!
A huge helmet on a tiny head looks really stupid.
