Out of the box it could easily be up around 400fps. Mine was.

Literally have no idea how to and rather afraid of doing it myself. I know I can get someone to do it but it's extra money and the hassle of sending it. Not sure what to do now.

If you get it from a decent dealer they'll do it for you. Not expensive.
