what I'm saying is a mate is offering a ptw in perfect condition at the same money as a recoil. If you were in that position which one would you choose?

are you sure it's a PTW for £550? if so get it and resell it for £1000. If it's a CTW or DTW (as I suspect it probably is at that price) don't even consider it, they're junk.

it is but its an m16. It is the 2008 version with no burst and it has all the trademarks. Get a WE SCAR L. Considering you wanted a scar as your first gun, now would be the perfect opportunity.

i like the gas ones and been looking around for gas guns, but I can't seem to find one reliable gas gun

yeah I really want a recoil action gun. + for the mags I am going to save up a bit more for more mags. either that or a gas gun of some sort

But in all honesty, why go from a £120 gun to a £500 gun? if i were you i'd spend the money on getting decent gear and if you were going to get a gun like that, wouldnt you want nice kit to go with it?

tbh I have a lot of kit, from ccf I have woodland gear and the new gear, tactical vest, boots, etc. I was planning on saving more so I could get some kind of eotech, a magpul grip, etc. I really want a gun that kicks though, would you have any idea about a gun that kicks. Im reluctant to buy a we scar gbb because they are quite prone to breaking (what I am told) is this true.

i understand its a big leap but I would have quite a few skirmishes under my belt and loads of time played. I organise events with my mates, and we hold small 4v4 matches, which are actually great fun and fast moving. I understand why it looks ridiculous
