And im pretty sure customs cottened on to this method a while ago

It is illegal in every way. You will also more than likely be busted, as the customs tend to hold RIF parts posted without UKARA number and wait for other RIF parts to the same address.

Really? I thought it was illegal to sell a RIF in the UK to someone who did not have a valid defence? (in most cases a UKARA number). The offence would be committed by the seller, not the purchaser, as you do not need a valid defence to own a RIF in the UK. This issue would then he, where would you use it? CRW have been advertising this service since 2007, as Mack says one of those legal loopholes. Nothing stopping you getting the parts sent to two different addresses.
