Could just use a DMR? Best of both worlds then. Yes, you don't get the really quiet shooting but at range people wouldn't hear a thing.

Ya your totally right, we are lucky as we have two big lumps in our team that have heavy supports just the sniper class is almost impossible to fill.

Totally agree with Lozart. People see films like Commando and Rambo where they one handedly fire an LMG obliterating everything. Then in the real world they complain it's too heavy and it hurts their little arms.. People don't understand the role of a support gunner. It's not run and gun like in the movies.
