You're going to have to upgrade the bar for it to be of any proper use... So I'd look at in the way that whilst yes you have enough money for it, you can't actually "afford it" because you'd need to buy upgrades?

Good point Teddy. I was wondering about how good it was OOTB and TBH it's going to cost me like £100+ in upgrades at least. I've made a thread about this as well btw. I should just go for the Glock, just the BAR is really tempting me.

You'll be wanting to spend £350 on upgrades at least for it to be competitive.

It's fine but nothing special. But you'll be wanting a very good barrel, preferably pdi plus decent scope and mounts, a bipod potentially too. If you're doing it, you may as well go the whole way and do it up with pdi or laylax parts tbh.

Or you could see if you can get yourself an A&K M24. They're part way upgraded stock so all they need is a few bits incl. barrel

It is but being a sniper rifle, it's all about precision and consistency. I wouldn't really trust a&k to produce parts of a high enough quality to satisfy.
