What's he trying to achieve with the upgrade? Power? Speed?

rof. While I was using my gun he had a rental ics cxp, which was firing 25+ rps, and my gun looked like 1rps next to it.

+1 on the SHS but he'll also need to upgrade his gearbox. A lot.

If hes going for rof but still wants around 330 fps, SHS high TORQUE motor, and shs 13:1 gears, aswell as mosfet, and a higher voltage battery

And angle of engagement correction (so sorbothane pad or piston spacers) and a good re-shimming. Re-wire with higher gauge wire would help too. Also a lighter piston.

ok, I don't think he will be able to do all of that, is that a standard requirement for all motor upgrades?

More for rate of fire upgrades. When you start to push the speed of the gearbox it can create all sorts of additional issues. I learned the hard way.
