It's front-wired right? If you buy the right type it should fit fine because they're smaller than Ni-Mh batteries. Only ones you need to upgrade your gun for are 11.1 volt LiPos.

Well have you considered the gears? I was asking a similar question about an AK and using LiPo's and got a lot of great feedback from the guys on this forum. A G&G is an entry/ intermediate gun and although G&G use good quality parts you'll need to consider if the gears are good enough. Also, be weary of your trigger contacts.
