PLCE is heavy as hell, see if you can get an NI/Web-Tex NI chest rig I'm assuming you're using DPM?) as they're much lighter and easier to move in

i really want the belt kit, just find it easier to use, and the chest rigs are just not for me, like to keep my front clean. onyl gonna have mags and ammo etc in there not the whole patrol gear

Fair enough, It's a heavy rig either way though as you need a minimum of 4 pouches on it for all the yoke's straps to attach to. You could get yourself a MOLLE battle belt and make a belt kit that way as it'd be much lighter?

molle is an option but they are not standalone system, and normally they only have two rowes of molle which is not sufficient for firmly attaching pouches through my experience of setting one up for a team member (all just wobbled around and i found the old plce was far more robust albeit less modular/fast)

Use what ever you like mate, I use old ALICE webbing and get on just fine!

If you use STANAG or similarly sized mags, the SAAV is easily, hands down, the nicest vest you can get. They're also just about the cheapest! Try one of those!

Make sure you get a genuine one though! (M83)
