IIRC most 1911s are pretty bad unless you're going for a TM. No idea how true that is though. Newer WE pistols are better.

Personally, if I were to buy a revolver I would purposefully buy a cheap one because revolvers aren't going to be much good against pistols / rifles. They're more just for fun so not much point spending ~ £100 on one when you could get a WE / TM pistol for about the same price. Just IMO.

We 1911 mags are possibly the worst gas mags on the planet. I had three mags and the seals all went within a month.

Yeah avoid WE 1911s, if you want a 1911 tm is the only one worth buying.

Dan wesson doesnt need a hop. I've got plently of kills outside with it. They can be easily modded with a hop anyway.

I think TM Revolvers would be a better option-They might be cheapy toy plastic but they have 24 rounds in the cylinder and have a nice hop up unit. It's a shame there is no parts support for it,one of the 'fire and forget' guns of the TM line.

At a guess 15-20m. few more if you angle it up a bit. Not the best range but very much usable. Local techy has done a few hop mods for people though and they do 55m now. TM revolvers are more practical but the fun is lost once you remove the whole removable shell thing.

I typically only use mine if im coming through tree lines or coming into bunkers, so im pretty sold on it now
