The guy's said he won't release the concept as a kit because apparently it'd be too hard for people to install.
I guess the guys behind the ASCU didn't get that memo.
Kind of pissed that he's taken that stance, it really doesn't look that hard. I feel like he's calling everyone shit by doubting they can do something he's done, it's a bit of an uppity arsehole stance to take.
yeah,if he made it open source like the HPA kuba system that would be fantastic but selling it as a kit,he would make a killing from people in colder climate countries, and places like the UK and Ireland of course
Apparently it's going to be sold on his website, the comment is on the part 2 video,he 'can't get an exact price' yet.
I can understand why he wouldn't want to make a kit... imagine how much flak he'd get from idiots who genuinely didn't have the skill to install it who then went on to whine like crazy?
It wouldn't be his problem if someone fucked it up though, he wouldn't have to do a single thing about it if some imbecile attempted to do it when they didn't fully understand it or not have the correct tools.
it'd definitely be his problem: Mong A buys a kit from him, convinced of his airsoft engineering skillz, he's changed 2 hop rubbers FFS, he knows his sh*t!
Mong A proceeds to royally screw up the installation and then writes a review that slates the product as being sub par... etc
Right now the guy is only offering the system to anyone who wants to send him their gun for him to do it. It doesn't matter if the reviews say that the kit is sub par, because most people who aren't retarded will just get him to install it for them anyway.
Seriously though, a disclaimer would sort it out and then we could all be much happier gbbr users.
