Try to move quickly as flanking can happen FAST.

buy a tornado grenade, those things are ridiculously handy for U18's

Shorten your stock if you can and keep your gun pushed well into your shoulder and at the ready at all times. Tuck everything in, elbows should not point outwards keep then pointed down so you are as small a target as possible. At corners never poke your head round, just lean out with your gun and start shooting. Don't get pinned down, just keep moving and shooting otherwise you will be stuck until they flank and shoot you from a different angle. Wear neck, full face, head and ear pro...

Short version: walk in the foetal position fast and silent with your gun shouldered and looking down the sights.

Thanks for the tips guys. strike hard, strike fast. Jeez, Tornadoes are expensive... I hate being under 18 for lack of pyro.

Look up cornering techniques on youtube, basics like 'slicing the pie' clearing stairwells and room entry, especially if you are going with a buddy to help you

plenty of energy drinks, your gonna need them. Its so more fast paced than woodland, you don't get time to rest most of the time

also be prepared for a bit more pain than usual as you'll be being hit from much closer range

Carry less gear! You want to be able to move fast and quiet. I found even my small chest rig was overkill for CQB - too many mags and ammo. Belt kit is the way to go. Depending whether it's full or semi auto a few midcaps will be better than rattling high caps! You won't need to carry as much as you're probably closer to the safe zone :)

Ok, thats good. No more lugging round my backpack. I also may be able to keep mags in my cargo pockets on my trousers.

Im also going to research some room clearing tactics. The only one I know about is "slicing the pie"

Just be fast and check all the corners!

If you can't use grenades, throw something that looks like a grenade before you enter a room, everyone will be busy diving for cover :)
