more so for historical than modern? remember if you trying to make a realistic loudout, really the gear should look like what it looked like while in use, rather than what they look like years and years afterwards (ea. today)

I have a mixture of very old stuff and new stuff for my WW2 loadout, thats works fine as damaged stuff would be replaced so some kit would always look newer.
