What jcheeseright. Cooldown resistance and gas efficiency are good,but there's so dodging the laws of physics. They'll perform far better at lower temperatures than metal pistols,obviously,but co2 will always win no matter what.

A TM pistol has a TM hop-up, so it'll shoot for miles in a straight line, that's the #1 reason to get one.
