  • Might be swapping my faithful MP5 for an M14 short

Get the Cyma with the wood body if you want to be a cheap git or a G&P M21 DMR style one,Those are pretty popular I hear.

I've been offered a swap for an OD bodied Cyma SOCOM with ris. The guy is looking at another guy's MP5 atm so it's hanging in the balance. I wouldn't mind letting go of my MP5 however it wouldn't matter too greatly to me if the M14 deal fell through

A good day's skirmishing. Had a lightsaber duel with some random guy while everyone carried on around us :D

    THE MP5 LIVES!!!

Surprisingly, frizzle, it's pretty much the same as I got it- only cleaner and re-greased.

@zak It doesn't really work as no igors, lightning flashes or knife switches were involved in it's revival :D

Go through all this gearbox hassle, and what should break but the motor crimp contact!

Oh christ I swear I've broken every single crimp contact with every gearbox that I've had. Glad I gave up on AEGs,for me GBBs are easier and more fun to work on, even if the spring hide and seen becomes frustrating. To combat that I just stick the trigger mechs into a plastic bag,let go and let them poof. Re-assembly is future Me's problem.

Turns out they come in packets of 25- even more room for error! :D

The Doctor Who anniversary episode was actually mildly disappointing for me. Anyone else feel this?

I think it needed to be longer. Should have been 2 parts or something. Then they could of made sense of *spoiler* rather than just making them *spoiler* everything. Plus they would have had more time for the *spoiler* *spoiler* stuff.

I liked it. Some clever ideas in there. Looking forward to Xmas and the new Doctor though...

Anyone know much about WE Browning HP pistols?

They're not very good, and that's from a retailer who specialises in WE.

    Alright, one to avoid then.

    They sound really hollow.

May as well, I've been meaning to shift from DPM stuff for a while just haven't had the motivation

M4 just came back from the spray shop (my mate's garage :D ) and...well...he's done a pretty good job for a tenner :D

    What design/Colour did you get?

Just a nice flat black atm, going to get it tan striped down the line when I make the switch to tan gear, but that won't be for a while :) pic is up in the gun pictures thread.

I keep finding guitar picks everywhere- is this a sign that I should start playing?? :)

    AK47frizzle
YES, IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO BE A PRO. I've been playing for 7 years, forced to on the first 2 years, but decided to actually learn it on the other 5. f*ck picks, learn fingerstyle guitar, much more rewarding.

Tested my MP5 with 0.25s for the first time (lol) and it is brillinat! I'm hitting 1.5m tall 50cm wide water butts at 40m with ease :D

Well yeah, but you always get 1 or 2- I saw a hire gunner try to take cover behind a 20cm wide tree once

I've taken cover behind much less when there's been nothing else available... anything is better than nothing!

    TacMaster

Fair enough- but seeing as there was a decent sized tree 8ft to his left...

PTT headset arrived, had to modify it slightly to work with my ancient Motorola radio(it's older than me!) and it works fine!

Anyone know much about G&G top tech gen 2 M4s?

    Monty

They're solid and perform really well. Gen 3's come with Mosfets as standard apparently.
