Sorry having read what I had said it does sound a bit harsh but my points to anyone who says it has been OTT'd. A member of the public had an imitation firearm pulled on them by an 8 year old child. They were not prepared for this to happen re eye pro and are probably unlikely to be able to tell the difference between any gun shaped object and a real gun. A fraction of a degree in the angle of the barrel COULD have blinded him. Don't forget YOU would get up to 12 months/a fine or both...
