I'd say the AFG tbh, grippods are a bit useless and shit. The legs can snap off quite easily, and 9/10 times when you deploy the bipod, it raises the gun barrel too much to give you an effective shooting position. They're only really any good on a range, or if you're prone on flat ground.

I use my grippod more often as a rest with the bipod tucked in.

Cheers Ed, I'll keep that in mind. I prefer the look of AFGs more anyway

I wouldn't go for an afg either to be honest, it's use isnt that great in airsoft when compared to a normal vertical grip imo.

I think they're really comfortable, and I hold all other grips in an angled fashion instead of with a clenched fist anyway, so if you're just getting it for comfort then I'd say the AFG is the way to go. Only reason I have a grippod is because it's in keeping with the loadout.

We'll my loadout isn't really based on anything so I'd use it for looks and comfort. My AGM Scar L finally gave up so now I'm after a VFC (not a tm recoil) SCAR l :) I was only considering a tripod if I decided to go with the VFC SCAR H SER but now you've said they aren't too strong I would use a normal foldable bipod if that ends up being my next gun.

On a scar though I think there isnt enough rail space to put one in a comfortable position as it isn't long enough

The SSR has plenty of rail space if that's what you are refering to. I'm not sure the exact length but it's slot longer than a standard scar h, a quick Google will show you that. That's why I'm tempted to get one and lock it to semi only and put the fps up to use as a sniper or keep the fps around 350 and use as a DMR
