I think I was hit by shame, not a BB. I didn't feel the shot, I felt the shame.

If flew out of an orange spec behind a bush about 15m away.

But we were on the red team and there were mixed forces everywhere so I just assumed it was a friendly haha.

You should go sometime, it's 25 miles from FFZ, postcode PE14 3RS. Also, Ed, next time you're down this way, go to MAW instead of FFZ

Yeah I'll definitely look into it. It'll probably be during the next break from Uni, so probably Christmas break-ish. Only reason I was at FFZ was 'cos two of my Uni lot live down that way and it's their local, so we thought we'd have a summer reunion.

Definitely look at MAW for next time.

MAW do similar to FFZ with no breaks apart from lunch. The site is less dense woodland, has a small village, with actual buildings, so a bit of CQB. There are a few dense bits of wood, few bunkers, there are also large open areas, the "runways" and the lightly wooded field area "district 9". The marshals are more laid back, prizes at the end of the day too.

Just looked, Sheffield is closer to MAW than where I live in Norfolk...

Yeah, I'm aware it's a lot closer. Like I said though, we only went to FFZ 'cos it was a Uni summer reunion trip and that's a few of my society lot's local site.
