Try accidentally grabbing a nettle instead of a weed you're trying to uproot and pulling your hand the entire 5 foot length of it.

My fingers joints on my left hand are all fucked and it's agony.

Try not knowing that nettles have stingy things on the spine and try to uproot it with both hand - 10 fingertips.

The best cure for stinging nettles is the juice held in the stalk its just a pain (literally) to get to.
