In what respect? Colour, size, trades?

All 3 to be honest, having done some more research it looks as though the newer ICS is very good

NGRS is the most fun you can get for your money but it's the most expensive as well. RS parts do fit on it though and aftermarket parts are plenty for it so later on you don't have to bend backwards to fit something else on it if you wish to do so.

Also, build quality is top notch. People always ask me if it's a GBBR. It just tells you how good job Marui made on this particular replica. In my opinion there is only one other MP5 which comes close second regarding build quality and that is the CES-P.

ICS CES-P S3 is a really solid MP5, but it's picky regarding magazines. Personally I didn't like how loud it is (split gearbox?) so I returned it ages ago.

I only read bad things about dodgy cyma mosfets so I don't know if I would risk 300+ pounds on a maybe.

Yeah ive been looking at an NGRS for a while now , but as with everything value for money comes down to it . The CES-P was winning the battle but interesting you mention it being picky on magazines. I see a local place might have 1 TM and 1 ICS instock so might try to get there and handle both.
