I'm probably still in denial about it, still have my odin and old smersh that should probably be cleared out.

But the longer i'm away the harder it is to imagine going back, and seeing that people are still hitting the same old problems that burned me out isn't helping.

Yeah, you get it. I've even bought new guns recently and have enjoyed dressing them up. However when it comes to actually organising everything then getting up at the crack of dawn and loading it, unloading it, waiting around in the safe zone hearing all the bullshit. I have zero motivation for it.

If I could teleport in with all my gear on and gun in hand, it may be a different story.

Yeah, used to joke about the insanity of getting up early on a sunday to go run around a muddy field.

Think the issue for me was that after coming back from covid, to the same old creative game mechanics, dickish behaviour and sites that at best cant and at worst wont do anything to remedy the situation that's plagued the sport for as long as i've been playing it.

Dont get me wrong, had some fantastic times playing pew wars, but a hobby you do for fun to unwind it's not good when having fun and unwinding are at the mercy of wether or not a decent crowd of folk show up on the day.

Maybe if i learn to tolerate it better and find fun regardless but methinks waiting for humanity to improve will be waiting a while.
