He’s been on here since, think you have to contact your bank, and contact the mods on here.

Mmm, the mods can't get involved in the transaction, but they might yeet the account. @Jedi_Master is most active.

You can get the process started with your bank while attempting to contact the seller - real life does get in the way.

I know how bad this feels (I got taken once, although for a lot less) but try to keep it neutral and factual. The more evidence you can show about it looking like a legit transaction, the better.

I guess you've learned the lesson now, but you don't need a PayPal account to pay by PayPal Goods and Services. You can (and should) ask the seller to send you an invoice for it. Even if they add the fees on, I think it's well worth it for the protection.

Best of luck.

O.K Good,

tracking number provided ?

L

No mate I have asked.i will give it till Friday.he has sent it from Ireland so he said it could take 10 days.

So he sent a valuable item without any sort of tracking or proof of posting from Ireland,  thats pretty stupid in my opinion.

I would agree special delivery would not be a good idea as it would probably fly & get scanned, but 1st or 2nd class sign for would be ideal.

I hope it’s Northern Ireland, not Southern.

I no mate I have my bank on it now.so if it doesn't turn up they will sort it

That’s very wise. Hopefully its not a scam, but your sensible to get the bank involved.

View attachment 115427So I send you this and you report me to your bank? That hardly makes any sense.

Edited to remove image of parcel, didn’t think about removing his address.

Nah man this isn’t on, I made the sale to you and you cancelled later on, I explained to you that I can either still send the gun or you can wait until I get paid because I spent the money clearing credit card bills, you later say you’ll take the gun after hounding me for money with constant messages after I had already explained my situation, I agree to send it out and show you the goods packaged and the sealed box. Now I’m out the gun and my bank has restricted my account, so I can’t even pay bills or pay for food, and have even refunded you the money. I genuinely can’t believe you’ve told your bank you were scammed after I agreed to send it to you and sent you pics of the parcel. Fuck me kick a man whilst he’s down why not.

As someone who isn’t directly involved, and only interested, and prepared to butt out if you wish. Can I ask why you sent what is a fairly valuable item without any sort of tracking, it does create problems if you can’t provide any actual proof other than a photo of the parcel before it’s posted. What happens should the parcel not arrive.

@novioman Simply not enough money to do the extra. Extremely tight budget. Was a risk aye, but wasn’t expecting to literally lose access to my bank account for it.
