Mmm, the mods can't get involved in the transaction, but they might yeet the account. @Jedi_Master is most active.
You can get the process started with your bank while attempting to contact the seller - real life does get in the way.
I know how bad this feels (I got taken once, although for a lot less) but try to keep it neutral and factual. The more evidence you can show about it looking like a legit transaction, the better.
I guess you've learned the lesson now, but you don't need a PayPal account to pay by PayPal Goods and Services. You can (and should) ask the seller to send you an invoice for it. Even if they add the fees on, I think it's well worth it for the protection.
Nah man this isn’t on, I made the sale to you and you cancelled later on, I explained to you that I can either still send the gun or you can wait until I get paid because I spent the money clearing credit card bills, you later say you’ll take the gun after hounding me for money with constant messages after I had already explained my situation, I agree to send it out and show you the goods packaged and the sealed box. Now I’m out the gun and my bank has restricted my account, so I can’t even pay bills or pay for food, and have even refunded you the money. I genuinely can’t believe you’ve told your bank you were scammed after I agreed to send it to you and sent you pics of the parcel. Fuck me kick a man whilst he’s down why not.
As someone who isn’t directly involved, and only interested, and prepared to butt out if you wish. Can I ask why you sent what is a fairly valuable item without any sort of tracking, it does create problems if you can’t provide any actual proof other than a photo of the parcel before it’s posted. What happens should the parcel not arrive.
@novioman Simply not enough money to do the extra. Extremely tight budget. Was a risk aye, but wasn’t expecting to literally lose access to my bank account for it.
