I've tried pretty much everything and as much as I begrudge admitting it courtesy of the 'influencer backing' Bloc Tactical (I specifically have the 'Lynx' model) with the foam gasket is the only one that has come close. Played over the weekend with them and had minimal issues all weekend, staying still for an extended period after running back and forth let to some fogging but as long as I was somewhat mobile or there was a degree of crosswind they were great. Links below to where I got them from, be sure to dig out a discount code from one of those YouTube folks if you want a small discount, obviously choice of number of lenses/colour is entirely up to you should you give them a shot.
I'd probably pick up a headstrap as well, the gasket makes them fairly front heavy.
Before these I was using ESS Crossbow Suppressors with a Valhalla ExFog gasket and an ExFog. That worked great but was less comfortable and required me to wear something to mount the ExFog on, my go to being a helmet but that's less than ideal when it's this warm out.
Revision anti-fog wipes are some kind of magic and/or witchcraft for how well they work. I use the wipes and an Exfog and I get zero fogging on full seal goggles even when sweating.
@alxndrhlli may have to bit the bullet on the blocs as the valhalla kit seems to be out of stock everywhere in the uk
@MrTea I may have to switch to full seals as i think thats half the issue. I sweat like heck and tend to be a fairly active player. So the sweat gets on the back of the lenses and adds to the issues of fogging
A sweatband does help - I have three cheap ones that I rotate after each game.
Revision wipes are indeed the best lotion/potion solution that I've tried too, compared to Cat-Crap, anti-fog sprays, or any non-commercial Hail Mary like shaving foam.
Dual pane also helps, either Pyramex i-Force, or (the best yet) a Valken Annex MI-7 paintball mask.
But ultimately the only thing that guarantees clarity for me indoors on either of the hot days of the year is fan ventilation.
No, I don't use an ExFog, I'm way too Scotch. I bought a set of FMA branded googles with a single fan built into one side run off of a 1.5V battery - that was a bit wimpy so I started modifying it, going to 2 x 1.2V nimhs, then a single 3.7V li-ion, and DIY dual-paned the goggles.
Now I run a 5V? 12V? (can't quite remember) cooler fan mounted to the back of my helmet driven by a small 7.4V lipo, with the air run through a piece of hose round and inside the helmet, and just shoved through a hole cut in the side panel of my sealed goggles.
My Valken MI-7 has two very small 5V fans DIY mounted in it, one on each side, and run off off a small 5V power pack (which just has an 18650 3.7V li-ion inside it).
Or you could skip all that and just buy an Ex-Fog.
I'll vote for ExFog but also, well ventilated thermal (i.e. double glazed) goggles with a wipe of some form of anti-fog between games goes a long long way!
