Almost certain it will be an aftermarket slide, or not a TM. But some of the newer TM pistols are hard to differentiate by touch or look alone.

KJW are TM spec, but WE's are not.

TM "can't" have metal slides.

I'd say that was in fact a Tercel.  Not a TM despite the cloned TM markings.

Your tech must be new to Airsoft/confused. That's a Tercel in a TM box.

He’s had over 20 years experience and he’s probably had more guns over his work bench than you and I are ever likely to see or hear about. So yes I trust his opinion.

I saw one of these years ago, back in the States, new… Defo a TM, is it in like a green TM/Colt model 1911 presentation box?

Looks nothing like that!

I've been in the game for over 20 years too and have had my hands on plenty of guns, mainly 1911s...Your tech is wrong on this.  It's not a TM.

Ask your tech what makes him think it's a TM when;
A - TM are forbidden by Japanese law to manufacture and sell metal pistols.
B - It looks exactly like a Tercel
C - Why are there no trades on the slide?

Seriously, everyone knows TM don't make full metal pistols.  You really think they'd tool up to make this one off and not even put trades on the slide lol
