Oh that wasn't my airsoft or a photo set up. We got hired to quietly clear some crackhouses out so the development company didn't have to go through the courts. Shame about that gal, she looked cool but I had to add to the metal piercings on her face.

That's just mostly how my living spaces often look ? I try to keep the "decor" on my own furniture/off the walls etc. - I've had this place long term now and that's not likely to change, but at the squats it depends on how fucked the place already is and how much of a dick the landowners are lmao. Occasionally "art" escapes onto the wrong areas. My current landlord knows I'd not take the piss too much
The previous tenants kids drew all over the walls anyway but he didn't need to redecorate 'cause I didn't care, beneficial to him lol. I pretty much have free reign to do whatever, if it gets a little squat-chic I doubt it'd be a problem so long as I handle it later.

The anarchist traveller punk squat scene does get you in touch with some some pretty hard post apoc vibes often. Sometimes good ones, sometimes bad ones. Often chaotic, sometimes both fun and miserable all at once ? Had many a fun time in various place, but I'm totally glad to have a solid place and admit I'm a full on "housie". I'm not gonna throw it away by choice even if I still do like to go visit friends in those sort of places and am perfectly happy staying in them for extended periods wherever, even on the street or in caves if need be... But, still.
I'd use the squats and buildings we're using, exploring, or scouting for photoshoots and maybe even unofficial games, but in the UK entering most squats with a replica firearm could change the legality from a Civil "Trespass" issue to "Criminal Trespass" which is, well... A criminal offence, and gives the cops grounds to enter without a warrant or court order, even if we're fully in control/occupying it with no contest/complaint - Random bonus; Here's some pics of various places that me and/or my friends have been with possible post apoc vibes, some of which I'd have loved to do photoshoots or airsoft games at

'cept the last on;, my leather jacket (which has an HCI patch on anyway) plus DPM trousers, add plate carrier etc., looks kinda just generic mercenary, could spin that look pre or post apoc IMO.
