yep, it's why i kinda gave up on throwables in general. vanishingly rare i'd get folks within the radius of my noodle arm throwing range whilst also having the time to draw, prep and throw without getting tagged in the process.

Mostly accuracy issues from what I've seen. In the heat of the moment I've even struggled to throw 'nades through a door way, from a few metres away. The classic one is hitting a nearby tree and bouncing back.

There's been a few times I've seen people stacking in a doorway trying to throw grenades, getting them prepped and lit etc. Just shoot the bastard.

One of my favourite moments at an event at Camp Sparta a while back was watching a group of 7 or so TF stack up on a closed door of a building whilst one TF held the door ready to open and another TF prepped a bang.  I don't quite know what was going on with their communication but the guy in charge of the door seemingly didn't get the message to open as the pyro guy is standing there with a lit pyro waiting for the door to be opened.  He panicked and threw it into a corner area away from the group where it went off and proceeded to fly right back at them and then went off again as it was a multi bang and took the entire group out.

Oh, I'm forever team-killing by banging BFGs off of door frames and such.

But since it's funny, and we're there to have fun, I don't see much problem with it.

I used pyro a LOT in the good old days of The Mall but these days (mostly woodland) I maybe get through a couple of smokes in a day, some bangs if I'm at Red Alert around the "buildings". Saved me a bloody fortune!

@Lozart oh yea the Mall was definitely a ‘target rich environment’ for pyro ! I think at its hight I had 5 dynatec’s I’d use there .
Happy days ?
