What rifle? & that seems a tad cheap for a aep/gbb side arm?:/

Could be an NBB,like the KJW/ASG MK23. Those go for about 50£ in Oirland.

Also curios what rifle you got.

We suggested a G&G, and he said he was saving for a CM16. As for the pistol, I suggested he get a Cyma EAP and they go for £75 on surplusstore

Don't buy a pistol, for £75 you won't get anything great. Spend that money on a better rifle instead.

The pistol he found is pretty good, I've got one and it hasn't let me down in combat.

Yes but you'd be much better off with a we, kwa or tm gbb one, so I wouldn't bother with the cyma. With £200 he can get a better rifle which is much more useful, especially seeing as pistols are rarely used or needed.

Fair enough

I agree with M_P,get yourself a good reliable rifle, instead of cheaping out on both.

But tbh, would you spend a sh*tload on a rifle and pistol if they were going to be 2 toned?

If that was the only choice, yes. They can be covered up at the site, and they're sure as hell gonna be better than renting.

Surely a brand new CM16 is better than a beat-up rented gun?

It is, but having £200 will get you something even better.
