Want some chips to go with that salt? ?

@Steveocee if he doesn't the chips i'll have them, as long as there's vinegar too. can't have salt without vinegar

Does anyone ever turn down free chips?

not if they're proper chippy chips rather than some haute cuisine bollocks where they don't even bother peeling the spuds.

Proper chippy chips, back in the day when a large cone (chippy paper not this polystyrene balls) was 95p. We didn't know how good we had it.

There's a place down in Paignton that we visit when we go to see my girlfriends parents that do some sort of wizardry with chippy chips and batter. Not to say I'd ever turn chippy chips down from anywhere, but I'd be lying if I said those ones haven't slightly ruined all the others for me. (I believe the place was called 'Scoffs' if memory serves)

95p ! I remember when a bag of chips was thruppence ! and you could get a tram down town see George Formby in the Grand theater , have a 6lb bag of monkey nuts and STILL have change from 2’n’6 ! ?‍?

@Steveocee Dunno when that was but back in my day was Chicken & mushroom pie, chips & curry sauce with a soft drink and I would get a copper or two change from a folding Newton 

I can remember the first time I heard my dad swear was when petrol went to 50p per GALLON!! The 50p thing as been my benchmark for lots of things since
